The Tension Level process may cause a reduction (necking) of the metal width.  Customers should provision adequate width for this process. RC will not be responsible for under-width coils that occur as a result of leveling or re-leveling that is directed by the Customer.

Customers may view their inventories on a real-time basis through .  Please view the website or contact your Outside Sales Representative or CSR for additional information as to how to access your information on the worldwide web.

RC encourages Customers to monitor and turn their bare inventories frequently.

RC will commit to process and ship on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) basis unless otherwise directed by the Customer.  RC will continue to provide storage for finished goods that have been in ready-to-ship status up to ninety (90) calendar days.  Aged finished inventory beyond ninety (90) calendar days will be invoiced monthly for storage charges.

For coils received and subsequently removed by the Customer prior to processing  (through no fault of RC), in/out charges will apply and monthly storage charges to date of receipt may apply.

RC recommends that shipments from our facilities be packaged and loaded eye vertical.  RC cannot be responsible for defects or transit damage as a result of Customer directed packaging or eye horizontal load orientation.

RC provides the following standard packages:

  • For coils 10,000 lbs. or less:

    • Eye vertical, 1-ID band at flap, 1 circumference band

    • Stretch wrap coil to skid

  • For coils greater than 10,000 lbs.:

    • Eye vertical, 2-ID bands, 1 circumference band

    • Stretch wrap coil to skid

RC will reasonably comply with any packaging or loading requirements specified by the Customer.   Charges associated with non-standard packaging will be the responsibility of the Customer.

RC’s liability will be limited to metals, raw materials and freight.  RC will not accept incidental charges, administrative charges or consequential damages.
